Alex Muthaka

Alex Muthaka is an asset management professional and has extensive investment management and advisory expertise which he gained over a period of more than 12 years.

His knowledge and skills cover a wide range of asset classes in which he supports clients to reshape their portfolios with investment strategy design, construction, rebalancing, and execution across different market cycles.

Alex takes a keen interest in working closely with retail and institutional investors to realign and optimize their investment portfolio’s asset allocation to enhance their capacity to earn competitive returns across dynamic market environments.

He is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance from the University of Baltimore (USA) and a Bachelor of Finance and Economics degree from Towson University (USA).

He has previously worked for CIC Asset Management (CICAM) as a Senior Portfolio Manager, at Genghis Capital as the Manager-Asset Management, as an Assistant Fund Manager at CIC Asset Management and as an Investment Analyst at Britam Asset Managers. Alex is registered as a Certified Investment and Financial Analyst by the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA).
