Minimum investment amount for MMF, Bond Fund and Equity Fund are as follows:

- USD: 100

08. How is the Interest calculated?
The interest is earned daily then credited and compounded monthly.
09. What does Daily Yield mean?
This is the interest or return that you will earn within a year i.e. 365 days.
10. What does Effective Annual Yield mean?
This is the total return you will earn within a year factoring in interest compounding.
11. What is compounded interest?
If you choose to have your interest ploughed back into your account, it will begin to earn interest upon interest hence the compounding effect.
12. Are there any applicable taxes?
Yes, there’s a 15% withholding tax of applicable on the interest income only.
13. One Month Compounding Interest Effect Example:
- Assuming an interest rate of 16.92% Daily Yield.
- 1 year calculation: 16.92% X 1,000 = KES 169.2
- 1 day calculation: 169.20/365 = KES 0.46
- 30-day month calculation: 0.046 X 30 = 13.90
- 15% withholding tax: 13.90 X 0.85 = KES 11.82
- New principal for the next month: 1,000 + 11.82 = KES 1,011.82
14. How much would I earn with 1,000/- after one year with Compounded Interest?
- Assuming an interest rate of 16.92% Daily Yield.
- 1 year calculation:(1+(16.92%/12))^12 X 1,000 = KES 1,182.96
- Gross Interest (Annual): 1,182.96 - 1,000 = KES 182.96
- Gross Interest (Per day): 182.96/365 = KES 0.501
- Net Interest (Per day): 0.501 X 0.85 = KES 0.43

03. Which supporting documents do I need to create an Individual account?
For a smooth account creation process, please have the following at hand:
- Copy of Official Identification Document or Current Passport.
- Copy of Tax PIN certificate or Tax Exemption Certificate (where applicable).
- Proof of banking details: Copy of ATM card, Bank Statement or Certified letter from the bank (not more than 3 months old).
- One passport photo.
04. Which supporting documents do I need to create a Corporate account?
For a smooth account creation process, please have the following at hand:
- Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
- Copy of tax PIN or Tax Exemption Certificate (where applicable)
- Proof of banking details: Copy of ATM card, Bank Statement or Certified letter from the bank (not more than 3 months old).
- Board resolution to invest or excerpt of minutes.
KYC Documents for Signatories:
- Copy of Official Identification Document or Current Passport.
- Copy of tax PIN or Tax Exemption Certificate (where applicable).
- One passport photo each.
- Above KYC requirements are also applicable for Sacco's.
05. Which supporting documents do I need to create a Joint account?
Signing Mandate:
All to sign, Any two to sign or One to sign.
- Copy of Official Identification Document or Current Passport.
- Copy of tax PIN or Tax Exemption Certificate (where applicable).
- One passport photo each.
- Proof of banking details: Copy of ATM card, Bank Statement or Certified letter from the bank (not more than 3 months old).
- List of other group members who are not signatories, with their telephone numbers and national ID numbers.
- Above KYC requirements are also applicable for Chamas.
06. Which supporting documents do I need to create a Minor account?
- Minor’s Name
- Minor’s Date Of Birth
- Minor’s birth certificate number
- Gender

08. I forgot my password; how can I reset it?
- Navigate to the Login page.
- Click on Forgot password.
- Insert email address used to register the account.
- Insert OTP sent via SMS/Email.
- Set a new password.
- Confirm new password.
- SMS confirmation will be sent.
- Save your password details and proceed to log in.

Solution:- Try to close and reopen the tab.
- Error Encountered:
Solutions:- Check your image format: only JPEG, PNG, PDF, JPG are acceptable.
- Image size: 10 mb
- Ensure beneficiaries percentages do not exceed and are not lower than 100%.
15. How do I withdraw?
Simply issue an instruction with exact amount expected to service@loftycorban.com. You can expect your funds to be credited to your account within 2 working days.
16. What are the withdrawal charges?
- First withdrawal: Free.
- Subsequent withdrawals within a calendar month: KES 500 per withdrawal.
