Peter Korir

Mr. Peter Korir serves as the Managing Director of Nyayo Tea Zone Development Corporation, a State Corporation falling under the Ministry of Agriculture, a role he has held since 2012. Prior to his current position, Korir accumulated 18 years of experience in diverse management and leadership capacities within prominent organisations such as East African Portland Cement and
Unilever Kenya.
His educational background includes an MBA with a specialisation in Finance & Strategy from the University of Nairobi and a BSc in Mathematics from Egerton University. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate in Public Administration (DPA).
Korir has honed his professional acumen through various certifications and qualifications, including completing the Advanced Management Course (AMP) from Strathmore University and the IEESE Management School in Spain. He is also a member of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and has undertaken numerous management and leadership courses both locally and internationally.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Korir serves as a Director at Maisha Bora Ventures and holds board positions at Kericho Teachers College and various secondary schools, where he serves as Board Chair.
