Stanley Mutuku

Stanley is a Finance professional and business leader with extensive experience in Investments management, strategic guidance and building strong teams for delivery of results.

He previously served at CIC Asset Management (CICAM) as one of the founder employees and rose to the position of CEO where he led the company to pole position in the Collective Investment Schemes space with very strong balance sheet and built it to be the “most profitable Asset Management firm” for more than 4 consecutive years. He has also worked for Old Mutual Kenya Ltd and Jubilee Insurance.

In contributing to the overall growth of the investment management industry, Stanley held various leadership positions including being Vice Chairman of the Fund Managers Association (FMA) and Chairman of the Collective Investment Schemes (CIS) Committee of FMA. He was also a Member of the Registration Committee of the Institute of Certified Investments and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) and member of the Multi Sectoral Stakeholders on Social Security.

He is a qualified accounting professional, a member of ICIFA and the Institute of Certified Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He possesses a Postgraduate Diploma from the Institute of Chartered Institute of Marketing UK (CIM-UK) and is a trained Capital Markets specialist with the International Fund Managers Association (INTERFIMA). He is also a qualified governance graduate and a member of the Institute of Directors of Kenya (IOD).

Besides official assignments, Stanley participates in supporting grassroot institutions like being in the leadership of Boards of Management for Schools and provides leadership to local Societies. He is the Treasurer of Kambusu Dairy Farmers Society and serves as the Chairman co-founding leader of the Kambusu Rural Sacco.

When not working, Stanley enjoys talking to the youth about “facing the challenges of tomorrow”, farming, working out in the gym, spending time with family and playing golf.
